Deposit Accounts - PAYC Checking

 

This is a very inexpensive "starter" account for someone who will carry a very small balance and not write many checks. Write three checks a month on a $75.00 balance? This account would only be charged 45 cents for that month. Deposit Accounts -NOW Accounts (Interest Bearing Checking)

This account is similar to a regular checking account except it earns a competitive rate* on the balance as well! This is designed for accounts that will always carry $1,000.00 or more. Deposit Accounts - Passbook Savings

This is your old-fashioned "saving for a rainy day" account that is designed for customers not needing check-writing ability on this account. It is a good account to have in addition to a checking account, where funds can be held until they need to be spent or transferred to a more permanent savings account (Time Certificate of Deposit). This account can also be utilized with a debit card. $100.00 minimum balance to open $2.00 quarterly service charge if minimum balance falls below $100.00. Persons 18 years and younger are exempt from this charge. Nine free withdrawals per quarter. $1.00 charge for each additional withdrawal Interest paid quarterly, variable rate subject to weekly review and change (see "Rates" section for current rate) $1.00 usage fee for each foreign ATM withdrawal Debit cards - $1.00/month

 

 


Deposit Accounts - Insured Money Market Accounts

This account is similar to a Passbook Savings Account but has the additional flexibility of limited check-writing ability. It is designed for accounts that will always carry at least $1,500.00, but not be used often as a checking account would. It will generally earn a higher rate than Passbook Savings.* $2,500.00 minimum balance or $1,500.00 average balance - no service charge $5.00 service charge if balance falls below minimum. You will earn the rate paid on NOW accounts. (see "Rates" section) Six free debits per month. $1.00 charge for each additional debit. Tiered Interest Schedule: Below $500.00 - No Interest Paid $500.00 - $2,499.00 - Variable Rate $2,500.00 and above - Variable Rate *see "Rates" section for present rate


Deposit Accounts - Time Certificates of Deposit

Do you have at least $500.00 to invest and are willing to "lock" it up for three months or more? This situation would call for investing in one of our very competive Time Certificates of Deposit! The rates are generally much higher than any other deposit account offered*, and still can be withdrawn in an emergency, with a penalty for early withdrawal.** Initial rates are established at bank's discretion but your rate remains the same for the maturity term of your Certificate.
